| Brad Meadows - Vocal and
Drummer Performer. His musical career began to take shape at the age
of eleven. A friend of his grandmother, who was a drummer loaned him
an old snare to begin practicing. Brad took that snare drum home and
found an old round wooden table top, using that for a symbal he began
practicing along with old 45 records. He practiced for several
months with that set up. His desire was to get a complete set of
drums. He knew his grandmother was a soft touch and thought he could
talk her into a new set of drums. On a visit to her home for his
12th birthday,to his surprise, his dream of having a complete set of drums
came to pass. She had the complete set arranged in the living room.
He immediately set down and began to play. At the age of 15, he made
his professional debut at Byron Jones Farris Opry in Richmond, Mo., with
his father. Brad's father, Bud Meadows, a well known vocal and
guitar performer in the KC area has been a very positive influence in is
musical career as well as, in his everyday life. They have played
many shows and late night clubs together for years. He attributes
his musical success to his dad. At the age of eighteen, Brad joined
a professional rock & top 40's band (White Fox Band) and woked with them
for 4 years until e married and had children. Since that time he has
been busy playing in church worship services and opry shows in the area.
He has played on Tuffy Williams KC Opry, Byron Jones Northtown Opry, Big
Creek Opy, Glen's Opry, Sundowners Opry and of course the Middle Creek
Opry. He has worked with many local musicians and has opened for
such greats as, Tom T. Hall, Hank Thompson, Jerry Reed, Ronnie McDowell,
Randy Travis, Ricky Skaggs, Barbara Fairchild, Connie Smith, Bellamy
Brothers, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Confederate Railroad, Gary Allen,
Ricoshete, Yankee Grey, Cal Smith, Gene Watson, Tanya Tucker, and many
more. Over the years, he has done a lot of studio work and live
recording for various local talent and has enjoyed a very exciting and
colorful musical career. Brad says: "Right now I am working
with the best musicians and friends in the Kansas City Area. I love

our show puts out. I
have known most of the band members 15 to 20 years. when you see the
band up on the stage having fun, rest assured it is not an act. We
really do enjoy what we do. The people at Middle Creek I consider my
friends as well as co-workers. Come out and see us.
